Kamagong Vases

Beautiful Pair of Kamagong Hand carved Wooden Vases from the Philippines!

One has a crack, but its beautifully functional.

The Kamagong is a tree that reaches a height of 20 m and a diameter of 80cm! The bole is irregular, often defective and straight, but oftentimes bending shortly above the ground. The bark is about 3-5 mm thick, brown, rarely black (which makes these swirls all the more beautiful!) The leaves are simple and leathery in texture.
